Launches and Relaunches

While we were pre-gaming for the relaunch of the Drunk Spelling Bee at Bob and Barbara's, sipping on Bourbon and Dr. Pepper with a dash of bitters*, (and maybe even a spritz of fresh lime juice) we decided to launch this blog.  We really just wanted another food blog to post already so we could read it, but grew impatient of course. We are insatiable, you see.  So we decided we had to start a blog.  For you, for Philadelphia, but mostly for us.  

Our boozy promise to you, Philadelphia, is to post everyday.  If it has anything remotely to do with food or booze, we will write about it.  You can look forward to news, reviews, rants, raves, recipes and gossip gossip gossip.  

And it goes without saying that we want YOU to be a part of Supper Club too.  Send us your tips, your comments, your star sightings, and your blind items!  We are excited to have yet another excuse in this blog to enjoy more often what this city has to offer.   

 *we used Old Grandad because it was found in the leftover booty of my sister's New Year's Eve party. And although a more lovely and woody choice like Basil and Hayden would pair well with DP, why would we ruin it?  OG did the job.  It did leave us feeling a little roughed up in the morning, but that could have been the half dozen shots of Jim Beam we threw down at B&Bs.
